Guess what I haven’t done yet?
That’s right.
I still haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet.
I’m going to wait until the last minute so that the stress makes me light-headed and the Mojitos I intended to throw back will hit me like a freight train running out of control down the side of mountain that is collapsing because it’s just been hit by one of those ginormous asteroids that killed off the dinosaurs.

…I’m heading out in a few hours to get everything done. There are a couple of strip malls nearby, conveniently they’re all within walking distance to each other. It’s probably a shame that the downtown of the little city down the road has been abandoned for the convenience of mega-stores close to the highway, but Jesus, it’s way more convenient this way. Up one aisle, down the other, and the Christmas wishes for everyone in my family are accounted for.

I discovered the secret to Christmas shopping a few years ago – For every gift I find for someone else, I get one too. The mojitos are a nice touch. Frango Mints help too. But the all time best are bourbon balls!
