Do you know what happened on March 2, 2009?
A ‘surprise’ asteroid flew 41,010 miles (66,000 kilometers) above the Earth.
That’s right, it was called a ‘surprise’ by
By The Way our ‘surprise’ has a name-
it’s called:
2009 DD45
I’d have named it Baxter.
Baxter The Flaming Surprise.
Someone needs to put me in charge of this stuff.

And what a surprise it would have been if “Baxter” came in for a landing….. it makes me wonder if it became a “surprise” only after the astronomers decided it was not going to actually hit us.
OK, I nominate A.M. as the daily surprise monitor for our groups. Do I have a second?
yes, sally. i second that!
how is an asteroid a surprise? don’t you see them coming? it’s not like they appear out of nowhere….
if it were up to me I would definitely put you in charge of that stuff AM
Can we rename Earth ‘Phew!Missed Us!’?
AMM you are the surprise Queen.
I like the name Baxter. There is a character in Viz comics called Baxter Basics. I’d like a dog to call Baxter.
If it had hit us it would put the economy into more of a tailspin than it already is and that’s saying something. Better yet, maybe it would have flushed Rush if you know what I mean.

am catching up again – and giggling at this – nowt new then!
