When I’m all alone
I sing.
I sing so bad my cats dive under the couches and purr- and I’m pretty sure they’re doing that because they’re scared out of their minds.
My dogs will stay with me but somewhere into the first song their eyes start to water and after I go into my third or fourth song they start chewing on their paws- at which point I stop because I’m afraid if I don’t stop they’ll chew their legs off or something.
So why do I do it?
Because it’s fun.
That’s why.
I didn’t know you had dogs. Why didn’t I know this?
great image
Funny. I sing to but lucky have no pets to torture.
Shark story is ready for you back at mine.
I think your furry friends are fine. If you remember Gary Larson’s What dogs hear/What cats hear cartoons……
Dogs only hear their names and cats hear nothing….ipsofacto your cats are fine and dandy and your dogs are just worried ‘cos you’re not saying their names…work them into your songs and they’ll stop fretting.
I am Cle the net vet….my work here is done.
Wow. When I used to have birds, when I would sing, my love bird, Peaches, would throw up in my ear.
Cle, any thoughts on that?
Hmmmm. I know you’re a pirate through and through but after she threw up in your ear the first time wouldn’t you have removed her from your shoulder?
The other explanation is that your singing sounded like a cry for food and she was feeding you the only way she knew how. … Should I stop now???
when my husband walks by my cat Blitzer he makes the sign of the cross over his head and laughs.
So Cle the vet…what say you about this?
I took the regurgitation as a sign of affection which is what the little beasties do with each other. I didn’t want her to suffer feelings of rejection.
Your cat is very talented to beable to do those things. Hahahahaha.
Wow that is a little scary if it upsets the dogs enough to chew their feet.
Blitzer must be the president of the Freddy Kruger fan club.
I have a friend who tells me that when she sings alone (and it’s usually opera) her cat starts biting her ankles.
I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
