Today my friend sent me a note.
He said that his son
is a Father now.
My Friend, who was one of my closest friends when I was growing up
is now a Grandfather.
Oh Wow.
Does that mean we’re not kids anymore?

Why is it that I feel younger than when I was younger? Weird. Must be a Dr. Who time-warp conundrum.
of course not! nursemyra is still a kid and intends staying that way for another ten years.
despite my younger son fathering a child while still a teenager (yikes – I even had the baby DNA tested to make sure)

I don’t stress over every little thing like I did when I was in my 20’s and early 30’s
So I understand that Time Warp Thing…and if It’s a Doctor Who Moment I know who I want to share it with 🙂
N.M. I’m not down with the Granny thing too- only 1 of my Grandmother’s let us call her Grandma my other Grandmother and both my Great Grandmothers had us call her ” Nan”.
That’s what I’m doing.
