By the time I could have left from work to walk up it was too late- they were already shutting the doors because they were full.
On one hand I was glad the turn out was good but on the other hand 😦
Yeah I saw on the news they had to turn away thousands because they were full.
I saw him in 05 when people didn’t know him as well. I got to walk right up to him and shake his hand. I also knew right then and there that man would be president one day.
I saw him at the 2004 Democratic Convention.
Just a few minutes into his speech the buzz around the floor was,
“That’s our next President”
I’m glad he’s ours.
