Pop Tarts Don’t Belong In Morgues

Lindsay Lohan was assigned Morgue Duty so the Pop Tart can learn what happens when drunken morons ( ahem Lindsay ) get behind the wheel of a car and drive around like they are the last living creature ( or at least the only one that matters ) on the face of the earth.

But that’s not what concerns me here.

I just find this entire ” plea deal” to be  offensive.

The very thought that some actress who got busted for drunk driving could be in a position to lay eyes ( let alone hands ) on somebody’s child or mother or husband who may have ended up in the Morgue because of  drunk driver ( ahem again Lindsay ) makes my skin crawl.

And that’s no easy task- I’ve worked Funeral Home.

Those recently departed loved ones are not teaching aides for snot nosed drunks- they are human beings and deserve some dignity in death.

I doubt if Lohan understands the concept of other people…but you would think there is somebody involved with the legal system or in the entire state of California that would.

  1. I agree with you Anita Marie (and I live in California). And a lot of others agree too. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough prison/jail space for everyone that should be incarcerated. That’s why they get let out after only a few days are served or get “community service” instead.

And I totally agree that making Miss L work in the morgue is insensitive. Even more so, I don’t think it will make much of an impact on her. I think it probably would make more of an impact on her if she were slapped into an orange jumpsuit made to pick up trash along the 405. That would wake her up.

  2. LOL! I wonder that too. Hey, I just read that the Irwin family would like to invite Brittany down to Oz to live with them, tame crocs, and get her head screwed back on straight. Maybe they could invite Lindsay too and make it a two-fer.

  3. I never thought of it that way, Anita Marie, but you bring up some valid points. I assumed (optimistically) that working in a morgue would traumatize her into good behavior.

  4. Hi Stil
I can see the reasoning behind the shock treatment- but they should really do it on a case by case thing- someone like Lohan doesn’t care about living people, she’s not going to respect dead people and I doubt if she’ll get it because…
    it’s all about her.
