Reality Blows Along Lake Union

Over the weekend there was this big secret event being staged at a public park ( which wasn’t going to be a Public Park for this event ) in Seattle, Washington and it was the talk of the town.

What was the secret?

A Wedding Party

A big Wedding Party for a big businessman and may he and his bride have a great life together but….

Geeze

A wedding party?

THAT WAS THE BIG FREAKING SECRET?

So to try and put some air back into that big wonderful mysterious balloon that floated over the Puget Sound over the weekend

I’ve decided to tell my own story about what happened at

Gasworks Park this weekend.

Enjoy:

Wouldn’t that have been a story to have read about? I think so.

Oh well.

Maybe next time…..

  1. So some rich dude and his fiance have a wedding in a public park and didn’t invite the public? What’s the deal with that?

If you have enough money to grease the palms of the local officials, you can close public places to the public? If some rich guy needed emergency treatment and didn’t want to be exposed to the great unwashed masses and had enough money, he could close an emergency room?

I hope you are all flaming mad up there and pitch a fit.

    Hurumpf.

  2. I can say this much…it cost the guy 5,000 to keep the ‘unwashed masses ‘ out.

You’d think with that kind of money ( I don’t mean the 5 g’s it took for the permits ) but the entire cost…he could’ve bought a small Island somewhere and done the same thing.

    amm

  3. You’re probably right Lori but do
you know what I think is funny?

In that area there are a lot of ‘haves’ and somebody with way more haves showed up and booted them out of the park.

I mean, in a way….it’s funny. Not funny ha, ha- just funny.

  4. Very annoying, yes. I hate it when people throw their weight around, just because they have money. It should have cost them a lot more than it did. Actually, it should have been priceless – and impossible to do!
