A Bruce Campbell Tribute

Bruce Campbell is my hero.

He makes ” B ” movies on purpose.

He says things like ” Bubba Ho-Tep wasn’t released, it escaped”

He’s a total Rebel.

I love you Bruce Campbell.

  1. I would give anything to be able to toss off lines like that- plus it would be great to show up on a TV show with a list of Movies That Suck.

My list would be longggg veryyyy loonnnggggg.

    Hey Max did you hear
Bruce has a part on this new USA show called Burn Notice:

    It’s out this Friday-

I’ll bet people have known for AGES.
    I’m a dweeb…I really am.

  2. I did not know anything about it I do not catch a lot of television. It looks fun. [[[Highway to heaven with mayhem]]] I will have to check it out.

  3. Thanks AMM! I haven’t seen Bruce Campbell since Brisco County, Jr. In my mind he’ll always be that handsome slightly dorky guy with all the best but corny lines. Well, maybe not always corny but he’s cute so who cares. Besides, he’s not a bad actor either. Hoah, I’m a fan too, can you tell?

  4. Hi Winnie
    I feel another tribute coming on…hmmm –
My Grandmother and her Sister ( the ones I’ based the characters In ” Saturnina Hits The Deck ) were HUGE Bruce Campbell Fans- go figure- so they were FURIOUS when they took Briscoe off the air ,in fact, I learned PLENTY of curse words in Illacano on that day!

  5. Ilocano? Your part Ilocano?

My paternal aunts we’re also Briscoe fans. They think he’s georgeous! They’re old bitties, mind you. I guess BRuce Cambell’s appeal cuts accross age groups. E-he-he!

  6. Hi Winnie-

I sure am- on my Mom’s Side- she grew up in Hawaii though ( lucky me- guess where most of my family lives? )

Anyway I’ll probably end up writing a story about my Grandma and Her Sister and their Bruce ‘ thing’. It’s sort of a story just begging to be told.

  7. I love Bruce Campbell, too. There’s nothing like sitting down and watching Evil Dead for the umpteenth time to really make me relax and enjoy myself!

  8. Hurray Shewolfy!

We watch it when we decorate the Christmas Tree.

    I wish I knew why.

I think I’m going to do a Bruce Page Here- hmmm, where to start

and if you say Gummy Bear Porn Max…oh wait,
    that would be funny.

  9. Oh, something more we have in common, AMM– I am a Bruce Campbell fan too. I own his autiobiography. I am strange. Yes, yes, I am. I first discovered Bruce because I was a John Pyper-Ferguson fan (Pete Hutter in “Brisco”). Now if you are a Pyper fan too, that would be way too weird!

  10. HI Lori I was sort of force marched into the Campbell Camp by the women in my family. Had they been Pete Hutter Fans my answer would be yes…but all the same Hutter was cool. Considering how much traffic Bruce’s tribute has taken I guess I should consider giving him a home on one of my pages…:-)

  11. Pocos actores son tan carismaticos e interesantes como Bruce Campbell, para mi el es un inmortal de las peliculas de clase B, gran parte del exito de Evil Dead se le debe a este tipo, BRUCE CAMPBELL
    IS GREAT

Few actors are as charismatic and interesting as Bruce Campbell. He is the immortal of B Films, in great part to the success of Evil Dead. Bruce Campbell is great.
