Sprung Diary: Write a diary tracking and intercutting multiple levels of thoughts, experiences, anticipations, expectations, from minute to major. (Cf.. Hannah Weiner‘sClairvoyant Journal.)
I’ve also been remembering that when I was about 8 or 9 I saw ” The Night Stalker ” starring Darren McGavin and decided on that very night that I was going to get myself a hat and a tape recorder and a camera and write stories just like Kolchak and my other hero Rod Serling.
I’ve been thinking that the eight year old kid that I was would just love it if someone could go back and tell her that im 2010 she was going to grow up and do just that.
2010.
Imagine that I’d tell her, in the year 2010 you’re going to write stories just like Kolchak.
You’ll have
the hat and the camera
only instead of the tape recorder you’ll have something called a laptop computer.
2010 is the year you find your very own Twilight Zone.
David Tennant will be making over 75 appearances on the BBC over the Christmas Holidays.
To some of us that sounds fab.
To a MP Conservative MP named Nigel Evans it does not. He thinks there is too much David Tennant on TV. He thinks David Tennant in just a few weeks could ruin the careers of lesser known talent by this kind of promotion.
Now here are some David Tennant Pics and clips for the rest of you to enjoy.
I’d like to dedicate them to Nigel.
