I have almost been hit by lightning twice:
Once it hit a tree about five feet away from where I was standing.
The next time I was almost hit I was out in the woods and this time the lighting hit the ground right next to me- I was fine until I heard someone scream, ” Wow, is that woman DEAD?”
So of course I start looking for a dead person.
It took me a minute to realize they were talking about me.
I’ve also been electrocuted at least a half-dozen times.
I hate electricity.
And I think it hates me right back.

so, you were near a tree the first time, and in a wood the second. seem to me there’s an easy fix, stay away from TREES! lol
I could never leave my house too- but neither one seems to be a very attractive idea.
Oh well.
