I have a really, really hard time wrapping my mind around the image of a gun-totin’, moose-eatin’, hockey-mom doing a toe-to-toe with Vlad Putin should, heaven forbid, the VP have to step into the shoes of the Prez.
Is it right that she is a Creationist too? It is mindboggling scary – I thought politically things were bad here but we have a long way to go to catch up.

I was wondering what your take was on this. It seems to be a clutching at straws tactic by McCain. Putting forward a woman for all those people who wanted to vote for Hilary ‘cos she was female and now have nowhere to cast their vote? But thats just the opinion of someone who knows diddly about the American political system …. Tend to glaze over when things get political. We have to vote for a new Premier this weekend. No difference between the two. The Labour party are a bit greener and the Liberals (the name is a joke) are a bit meaner.
I really hope Obama wins this. It is an incredible time.

Hi Jill- not only that she thinks that Creationism should be taught in schools- which is wrong considering Creationism is a fairy tale- and unless they’re going to teach the works of the Brothers Grimm as fact I say they should leave that one to Story Time at Sunday School.
Cle- the Republican Party here is so out of touch with reality that they think women were only voting for Hillary because she has a Vagina- seriously, people took her seriously because she was a well qualified candidate…
