Over the weekend my husband ran for a national delegate position for Barack Obama and he got it!
Here’s my husband’s speech ( he actually sang a few lines from a couple of songs and played his guitar ).
I’d like to say how proud I am of him… Luis does great work for our community and I’m grateful he was given this chance to be part of this historical delegation.

Good afternoon fellow delegates, alternates and political warriors. I am LUIS MOSCOSO: community organizer, union activist and Democratic “CHANGE AGENT!”
YOU are the FORCE for CHANGE I’ve been organizing for – and Senator Obama is the LEADER for CHANGE that is so desperately needed now!
I am excited to be here with all of you. The ENERGY of INCLUSION that has been set in motion cannot be stopped! WE are a force to be reckoned with. YOU are the America I’ve always dreamed of.
I have been in these battles before – and I’m ready for the FIGHT of OUR LIVES.
