I have friends
who volunteer in Political Places.
They’ve been at this for years.
Today they both called me from opposite sides of the country and said the same thing.
” This election thing isn’t going well. People are angry. They saying they’re not going to vote. I’ve been doing this for over X number of years and I’ve never heard things like this before. “
” What. ” I asked ” Nobody has ever threatened to boycott an election? “
” No…the anger… “
See, all of this carrying on is being spun as ” passion ” and ” conviction ” for the candidates and I tossed that word out there but both these people disagreed on that word.
Anger.
That’s the word they used
because that is what they’re hearing.
It’s 5:07
and
I am
Officially Worried.
in australia it’s compulsory to vote, you get fined if you don’t.
maybe they should make it compulsory for you guys too
Hi N.M!
You know, if people were engaged more often you wouldn’t have an elite group running the show..but really, that’s what’s happened.
And that’s why things are bad now….the gate crashers have shown up and the one at the head of the line is running for President.
I think people are buying the junk in msm and on the internet.
They have been chipping away at our party for months.
Racism.
Sexism.
Ageism.
People will cut off their nose to spite their face.
We all want the same thing.
End the war.
Health care.
A better Economy.
If you don’t vote, you lose.
from ohio, i share your concern… i was encouaged to see so many young voters turn out at 7:30 am – yet the ‘machine’ came through.
